Key takeaways

  • The selected Rajasthan board is a 14 October reference, not a streaming price feed. Its exact intraday quote time is not supplied.
  • Compare the same purity and unit. A 22K jewellery quote should not be compared directly with a 24K bar price.
  • A price per gram is not a final invoice. Making charges, stones, product premiums and applicable tax need separate confirmation.
  • Existing city guides use their own named source snapshots. Missing or disputed values are not replaced with the Rajasthan figure.
  • Use the city buttons immediately after the FAQs to open the original city pages; no duplicate city pages have been created.

Confirm the seller's current itemised quotation; these are not tax-inclusive or tax-exclusive invoice guarantees.

The table separates 14 October from 13 October and uses Groww's Rajasthan series for both. Daily changes are calculated from the two dated observations. They do not measure your jewellery's resale return, and they do not guarantee that a shop lowered its price by the same amount. 1

The publisher's date and TradeGrows' check time answer different questions. The date identifies the displayed daily reference. The check time identifies when the source was read. Neither is evidence that the figure was executable at a particular minute. The rate board does not certify whether its values include GST or other charges, so this page does not label them tax-inclusive or tax-exclusive.

Why two websites can show different Rajasthan prices

The independently checked Candere board has different 14 October table values: ₹14,836/g for 24K, ₹13,590/g for 22K and ₹11,127/g for 18K. Those are Candere's references, not an exact confirmation of Groww's figures. Both publishers name Rajasthan, but their displayed boards are not interchangeable. 1 2

14 October publisher boards · INR / gram · not a blended quote

Groww · selected series₹14,841₹13,604₹11,131
Candere · alternative tables₹14,836₹13,590₹11,127

Candere's 22K narrative also differs slightly from its own summary table. The alternative comparison uses its table values only and is not the accepted primary rate for this page. This is another reason not to blend providers or reuse a number without its source context. 2

TradeGrows keeps one named source for the main rates and history instead of averaging the two. A blended figure would be a calculation created by this website, not an observed quote. The comparison above is included to make that distinction visible, not to recommend a particular publisher or seller.

The quantities are practical arithmetic references. For example, an 8-gram figure equals eight times the selected per-gram reference. A 100-gram bar can carry a different product premium, and a jewellery item can have a different making-charge basis. Scaling a reference does not establish what a retailer must charge.

Use grams when comparing an invoice. If a seller quotes a traditional weight unit, ask for its exact gram equivalent on the bill rather than assuming that a commercial shorthand means 10 or 12 grams. This page deliberately does not relabel either quantity as a tola.

This is the selected publisher's ten-day reference series, not exchange settlements and not a record of every local dealer's opening or closing quote. Changes shown with the table are recomputed from the next earlier dated entry. The oldest row has no earlier observation in this displayed series, so its daily change is not manufactured. 1

Repeated entries over two dates mean that the retrieved publisher table repeats a value. They do not prove that gold stopped trading or that every Rajasthan retailer held its rate unchanged. A short historical decline or rebound is context, not a reliable forecast of the next purchase price.

City values reuse the original reviewed records and source decisions; they were not re-quoted at the statewide source's 19:18 check time. Open a city guide for its full acquisition time, tax basis and exceptions. A dash is missing data, never zero.

The comparison reuses the 20 existing Rajasthan city pages and their reviewed source records. It does not turn the state board into 20 new city quotations. Each row names the city page's selected provider and reference date. Different acquisition times, provider definitions and product bases can produce different values, even on the same calendar date.

For a purchase in Jaipur, open the Jaipur gold-rate guide and verify the shop's item-specific quote. For Sikar, use the Sikar source references and buying checks. The original Sri Ganganagar gold-rate page retains its own unit, source and fee context. These are more useful local starting points than assuming one regional headline settles every invoice.

What the missing cells mean

Mount Abu and Nawalgarh have no accepted exact-city current rate in the existing reviewed records. Their pages remain useful for understanding the buying and source checks, but this overview does not insert Jaipur's or Rajasthan's rate into those rows.

Alwar and Barmer have a disputed 18K cell; Jaisalmer has a disputed 22K cell. A dash means that the value is withheld or unavailable—not zero, not free gold and not a direction-of-price signal. The original city guide explains the specific source issue. This preserves the distinction between a complete reference, a partial reference and a missing one.

Compare cities without creating a misleading cheapest-city ranking

A comparison is meaningful only after matching the same purity, date, net weight, tax treatment, making-charge basis and product type. A lower published metal reference can still lead to a higher jewellery invoice if the design charge or stone cost is larger.

This page therefore does not rank Rajasthan cities as the cheapest or best places to buy. It also does not infer that travelling to another city saves money. Use the table to locate the right reference and the original guide, then compare actual written offers for comparable products.

Choosing between 22K, 24K and 18K

22K is commonly relevant when comparing gold-alloy jewellery. The BIS jewellery-grade label 22K916 identifies 916 parts of gold per thousand. 18K750 identifies 750 parts per thousand. These fineness numbers describe metal content, not an item's design quality, stone value or resale terms. 3

24K is a high-purity category often used in bullion price boards. Groww describes the selected category as 99.9% purity. That quoted category should not be confused with BIS's 24KS995 jewellery grade, or used to certify an untested object as 999 fineness. Check the item's actual marking and product specification. 1 3

The right comparison is product-specific. For a bangle, confirm its stated alloy purity and net gold-alloy weight. For a bar or coin, check the fineness, weight, manufacturer specification and any premium. For stone-set jewellery, ask how stones and non-gold parts affect the reported weight and invoice.

Read the dedicated 22K versus 24K gold education guide for a fuller explanation of 916, 995 and 999. This overview does not calculate an unsourced retail 22K price by multiplying a 24K quote by a purity ratio.

Estimate metal-reference value, not the final jewellery bill

Reference-value calculator

Metal-reference arithmetic only. No automatic tax, making charge or product premium.

Selected 22K source reference: ₹13,604/g · 14 October 2026. Weight must be above 0 and no more than 1,000 grams.

This calculator answers one narrow question: what is the selected reference per gram multiplied by the entered net weight? It does not add GST, making charges, wastage, stones or a bar premium. It does not authenticate gold or quote a buyback price.

If you are examining a piece with stones, enter only the weight appropriate to the gold-metal line on the seller's quotation. If that weight is unknown, do not substitute gross weight and treat the result as a verified metal value. A calculator cannot resolve an unclear invoice.

What to check on a Rajasthan jewellery quotation

Ask for an itemised written offer before paying. The small-print conditions can matter more than a small difference in the displayed daily gold rate.

Invoice itemWhat to confirmWhy it matters
Purity and productStated caratage, fineness and whether the item is jewellery, bullion or a coinDifferent products and purity bases are not directly comparable.
Net and gross weightNet gold-alloy weight, gross weight, stone weight and any non-gold partsA stone-inclusive gross weight should not automatically be priced as gold.
RateINR per gram, rate date, quote validity and tax basisA dated publisher reference is not the seller's confirmed rate.
Making chargesFlat amount, per-gram amount or percentage and the base usedTwo identical headline percentages can apply to different bases.
Other costsDisclosed stone, premium, wastage or certification amountsAvoid counting the same component twice.

GST: do not confuse a retail sale with separate job work

The CBEC Gems & Jewellery sectoral FAQ, available through the GST Council, explains in Question 7 that an end-consumer jewellery sale is taxed at 3% of the total transaction value of the jewellery, whether the making charge is shown separately or not. Its separate job-work discussion addresses a different supply relationship. It should not be converted into an automatic extra 5% on every retail making-charge line. 5

This is legacy GST guidance, not a newly announced 14 October 2026 rule or a determination of your transaction. Confirm the current applicable treatment, classification and invoice basis with the seller or an appropriately qualified adviser. The statement does not resolve whether the selected publisher rate already includes tax. No tax has been silently added to the reference tables or calculator.

Making charges and promotional claims

A “zero making” or discounted-making offer should be read with its full conditions. Check whether it applies to the exact product, whether another premium is included in the metal price, and which costs remain payable. A claim about one charge does not prove that an invoice has no other charges.

There is no universal Rajasthan making-charge percentage assumed here. A handcrafted item, a machine-made chain and a plain bar can have different pricing structures. Compare final offers for genuinely comparable items rather than selecting a product from its headline metal rate alone.

Hallmark, HUID and document checks

For HUID-hallmarked jewellery, BIS describes three hallmark components: the BIS logo, purity in caratage and fineness, and a six-character alphanumeric HUID. Use the Verify HUID feature in the BIS Care App to check the record. BIS also advises obtaining an authentic invoice and keeping the article details for dispute or complaint handling. 3 4

Inspect the actual item's marking instead of relying on a product photograph or a verbal claim. Ask the seller to explain any mismatch between the item, the bill and the purity description. Keep the invoice and relevant records after purchase.

HUID verification is a useful consumer check; it does not promise future prices, eliminate every transaction risk, or guarantee that making charges will be recovered on resale. This page does not assert that every article or district is subject to one blanket mandatory-hallmarking rule. Product scope and exemptions must be checked against the applicable BIS guidance.

Why a gold reference can move, and what it cannot tell you

A Rajasthan publisher board is not an isolated local market. International bullion pricing and the rupee value of a dollar-denominated reference can influence the domestic metal-price context. Product premiums, source methodology, retailer inventory decisions and quote timing can affect the offered price. These are general mechanisms, not a verified explanation of why each 14 October city row changed.

Local jewellery demand can influence the terms of an offer without creating a single official state-wide dealer rate. This page does not claim an association, government or individual retailer fixes one compulsory price for every Rajasthan shop.

For national unit and source comparisons, use the India gold-reference page. For the difference between physical metal references and contract-specific futures, visit the commodity-market overview. A dated MCX observation should not be substituted for a retail jewellery quote without reconciling contract, expiry, purity, unit and timestamp.

Selling, exchanging or buying back jewellery

A retailer's displayed buying rate can differ from its selling rate. Purity testing, net weight, stones, deductions, documentation and the shop's exchange policy can affect the amount offered. The original purchase price is not a guaranteed future recovery value.

Ask for the calculation and deductions in writing. Do not assume that a headline rise in the 24K reference compensates for every cost paid when buying a 22K or 18K jewellery item. The history table is not a personalised instruction to buy, wait, sell or exchange.

What is the 22K gold rate in Rajasthan per gram and per 10 grams?

For the selected 14 October source, 22K is ₹13,604 per gram and ₹1,36,040 per 10 grams. Product charges and the actual invoice tax basis require separate confirmation. Do not assume the publisher board is a final jewellery bill. 1

What is the 24K gold rate in Rajasthan?

The selected Groww figure is ₹14,841 per gram or ₹1,48,410 per 10 grams for 14 October 2026. Its quoted 24K category is described by the publisher as 99.9% purity; an actual item needs its own fineness and product checks. 1

Is an 18K Rajasthan reference available?

Yes. The selected state board provides ₹11,131/g or ₹1,11,310/10g for 14 October. That does not fill a disputed 18K value on an existing exact-city page. State and city source decisions remain separate. 1

Are gold prices the same in every Rajasthan city?

Do not assume so. A common publisher board can repeat a value across cities, but actual offers can differ by provider, quote time, product, charges and tax basis. Match those details before comparing cities; this page does not rank the cheapest city.

Why do Groww and Candere show different Rajasthan rates?

They are separate publisher references, and the checked 14 October boards differ. TradeGrows identifies the provider instead of averaging them. The main rate/history series uses Groww; Candere is shown only as a transparent independent publisher comparison. 1 2

Do the displayed prices include GST and making charges?

The selected rate board does not certify its charge inclusion. Treat it as a dated metal reference, not a final invoice. The page does not silently add tax or making charges; ask the seller for a tax-basis-confirmed itemised quotation.

Is 5% GST automatically added to jewellery making charges?

Do not apply that as a blanket retail rule. Question 7 of the legacy CBEC sectoral FAQ describes 3% GST on the total transaction value of end-consumer jewellery, whether making charge is separately shown or not. Separate job-work treatment is different. Confirm current applicable invoice treatment for your transaction. 5

Can I multiply a 24K rate by 22/24 to get an accurate 22K jewellery quote?

No. That is purity arithmetic, not a verified retail quotation. The page uses directly stated 22K source values and keeps product premiums and fees separate. The 22K versus 24K guide explains purity and fineness in more detail.

Why are Mount Abu and Nawalgarh rates unavailable?

The existing reviewed records do not contain an accepted exact-city current rate for these two pages. Their buying guides remain linked, but no old, national, state or nearby-city value is inserted as their current quote.

What does a dash in a city purity cell mean?

It means an unavailable or withheld reference, never a zero price. A city's original guide explains any source conflict. This is why some Alwar, Barmer and Jaisalmer purity cells are not filled merely because the state board has a number.

How do I check a jewellery HUID?

Use Verify HUID in the BIS Care App and compare the record with the actual item and invoice. BIS identifies the hallmark components as its logo, caratage/fineness and the six-character alphanumeric HUID. Verification is not a guarantee of resale price. 3 4

Is the calculator a jewellery quotation?

No. It calculates selected reference per gram × entered net grams only. It does not add product premiums, making charges, stones or tax, and it cannot authenticate the item or determine its resale value.

Are these live gold prices or an MCX settlement?

Neither. They are manually reviewed daily publisher references. No live feed or contract-specific settlement is supplied. Check the visible 14 October date, named source and acquisition time before using a figure as context.

Will the page create new versions of the city guides?

No. The buttons below reuse every existing published city URL. Twenty are Rajasthan city pages; Vijayawada is clearly separated as an Andhra Pradesh page. Their original paths, content and source decisions are preserved.
