TradeGrows Editorial Policy

Purpose and scope

TradeGrows is an India-focused market-information website whose news, general analysis, listicles and investor-education library is being rebuilt. This policy describes the editorial standard intended for content published under the TradeGrows name. It explains how material should be sourced, checked, labelled, dated and corrected so readers can distinguish reported information from interpretation and general learning material.

This is an editorial standard, not a promise that every page is complete, current or suitable for a reader's circumstances. Market conditions, company disclosures and public requirements can change. TradeGrows does not provide tailored investment, tax, legal or financial advice, and this policy does not approve or endorse any transaction or financial product.

Open review items: The website operator or legal entity, effective date and any applicable mandatory legal terms have not been confirmed. This policy does not claim legal review or approval.

Editorial standard

For each item, the intended process is to define the subject and material claims, gather reliable records, check important facts and dates, identify the content type, add relevant context and limitations, and review the wording for clarity and fair attribution. The depth of checking should be proportionate to the potential impact of a claim, particularly for listed companies, market events, public policy and investor risk.

This page describes the standard TradeGrows content should meet; it does not claim that an observed newsroom team or a guaranteed review process currently exists.

Source priority and checking

For India-focused coverage, the preferred order is:

  1. Original and official records, such as issuer filings, exchange disclosures, regulatory notices or orders, annual reports, financial results, official government records, court records and original datasets.
  2. Direct evidence, such as a dated company statement, meeting material, transcript or other record that can be assessed in context.
  3. Independent reporting and specialist research for context or corroboration, rather than as a substitute for an available primary record.

Material factual claims should be checked against the relevant original record where reasonably possible. Dates, versions and material discrepancies should be compared. If a primary record is unavailable, incomplete or inconsistent with other reliable information, the uncertainty should be stated plainly or the claim should be omitted. Attribution alone does not turn an unconfirmed statement into an established fact.

Attribution, quotations and summaries

Significant factual statements should identify their basis in reader-friendly terms, including the type of record, its date and, where relevant, the organisation or authority that issued it. A company statement, allegation, proposal, estimate, result and decision should not be presented as the same kind of fact.

Quotations should retain their material context. Summaries and translations should be labelled when they could otherwise be mistaken for the original. TradeGrows should not reproduce another publisher's reporting as established fact without appropriate checking and attribution.

Labels for different types of content

News

News should describe a time-specific development using the most reliable available records. It should distinguish an announcement, allegation, proposal, result or decision from later outcomes. The publication date and, where material, the event date should be clear.

Analysis

Analysis may interpret public information, compare developments or explain possible implications. It should separate verified facts from assumptions, judgements and scenarios, and state material data gaps and the date through which information was considered. Analysis is not a prediction, trade call or assurance of future performance.

Education and listicles

Educational guides and listicles should explain market concepts, terms, processes and risks in general terms. Examples may simplify a topic, but should not be framed as a reader-specific plan or as a reason to transact in a particular security, derivative, fund or other instrument. Lists should explain their selection basis where that affects how a reader may interpret them; inclusion is not an endorsement.

Market figures, dates and status

When content includes prices, returns, volumes, valuations or other time-sensitive figures, it should state the relevant date and, where available, the observation time in Indian Standard Time. The status should be visible in plain language, such as live, delayed, end-of-day, provisional, stale or unavailable. A number should not be presented as current or executable merely because it appears on the site.

Figures should identify the relevant instrument, unit or currency and market or exchange context where needed. If a figure is delayed, stale, corrected, incomplete or based on a closed session, that limitation should appear near the figure. Readers should verify current information through an appropriate source before making a transaction decision.

No trade calls or personal advice

TradeGrows content is intended for general information and education. It should not provide personalised investment, tax, legal or financial advice; issue buy, sell or hold instructions; set target prices; or imply that a particular return, outcome or loss can be expected. Discussion of a company, sector, index or market instrument is general editorial material, not a recommendation for any individual.

Market participation involves risk, including loss of capital. Readers should consider their own objectives and circumstances and obtain appropriately qualified professional advice when they need advice for their situation.

Corrections, updates and reader feedback

Accuracy is an ongoing editorial responsibility. When a material factual error is identified and verified, the item should be corrected promptly where practicable. A material correction should be visible and state what changed, why it changed when that can responsibly be explained, and the correction date. A meaningful addition should be marked as an update with its date rather than silently changing the reader's understanding of the original item.

Readers may report a possible error, missing attribution or outdated information by emailing help@tradegrows.com. Please include the page title or URL, the statement at issue, supporting record or context, and contact details only if a response is requested. Feedback is a request for review, not a guarantee of a response, correction or particular editorial outcome.

Operational review flag: The mailbox address is owner-supplied but delivery has not been verified. TradeGrows must confirm that this channel is monitored and publish an alternative route if it is not available.

Conflicts, commercial material and sponsorship

Editorial conclusions should not be shaped by undisclosed financial interests or commercial consideration. A relevant financial interest or material relationship connected to a subject should be avoided where practicable or disclosed clearly and near the relevant content.

If TradeGrows later publishes sponsored or partner-supported material, it should be labelled prominently near the heading and the commercial relationship should be disclosed. Promotional claims should not be presented as independent reporting. This policy does not assert that sponsorship, advertising or affiliate activity currently exists.

Use of AI and automation

Software, including AI or automation, may assist with research, transcription, translation, drafting, formatting or data handling. Generated output is not verified merely because it was produced quickly. Material claims should receive human review against appropriate records, with context checked and unsupported assertions removed before publication.

AI-assisted text should not be presented as an original record, source confirmation or personal advice. Where automated methods materially affect a reader's understanding, their use should be considered for clear disclosure. Automation should not substitute for accountable human checking of sensitive market, company or regulatory claims.

Images, charts and illustrations

Images, graphics and charts should not mislead readers about what they show. Conceptual or illustrative visuals should be labelled Illustration or Representative image. An image should not be described or displayed as a live price chart, trading screen or current market data unless it is accurately sourced, dated and labelled.

Captions should provide material context, including a date or source where it affects interpretation. Visuals should not be edited in a way that changes the substantive meaning of a market event, document or data point.

Policy review and unresolved items

This policy should be reviewed when TradeGrows' publishing practices, content formats or contact details change, and when legal review identifies a required amendment. The version's date will be shown below once the policy is approved for publication.

The website operator or legal entity, effective date, correction-channel monitoring arrangement, and any applicable Indian legal requirements or jurisdiction language remain open for owner review and later professional advice when available. They are not stated as settled facts here.
