US spot Bitcoin and Ether exchange-traded funds recorded a combined $150.8 million in net outflows for the 12 October 2026 US trading session, according to the latest completed daily rows reviewed on Farside Investors' tables on 13 October.

The provider reported $65.4 million of net outflows for Bitcoin ETFs and $85.4 million for Ether ETFs. The combined amount is the arithmetic sum of the two reported totals, not a separate measure of all money leaving cryptocurrency markets. Which funds accounted for the latest outflows?

In Farside's Bitcoin table, BlackRock's IBIT showed $65.4 million in net outflows, while the other displayed funds had zero net flows in that day's row. The group total therefore matched IBIT's figure in the provider's captured table. A zero entry means no net flow was shown in that row; it does not mean the fund had no exchange trading volume. For Ether, ETHA showed $75.1 million in net outflows and Grayscale's ETH showed $10.3 million. Those two entries sum to the displayed $85.4 million group outflow. It is important not to confuse Grayscale's ETH ticker with another product or with the Ethereum network's overall trading activity. Farside Ether data (opens in a new tab)

These are provider-reported observations. Farside says its tables are generated automatically and may contain errors or inaccuracies. Daily figures can also change as records are updated. The report attributes the amounts to that specialist source rather than claiming issuer-by-issuer independent confirmation.

The previous week also showed net redemptions

For the five US trading dates from 5 to 9 October, summing the daily group totals shown by Farside gives $678.9 million of Bitcoin ETF outflows and $542.2 million of Ether ETF outflows. Combined, those displayed five-day totals equal $1,221.1 million in net outflows. This is a derived five-session total, not the 12 October daily figure. The Bitcoin group was not negative every day in that period: its table showed positive totals on 6 and 9 October. The weekly sum therefore describes the balance of positive and negative days, not uninterrupted selling. This distinction helps avoid exaggerating the flow pattern.

ETF flows are not token-price returns

ETF net flows track creations and redemptions in a defined set of US-listed funds. Bitcoin and Ether also trade on cryptocurrency venues around the clock. Their spot returns, derivatives liquidations and exchange volumes require their own data, times and comparison periods.

An ETF outflow can be relevant to institutional demand, but it does not on its own prove a particular same-day price fall or establish what prices will do next. This article does not attach an unverified current Bitcoin or Ether quote to the flow figures. It also does not describe the continuous crypto market as having closed with India's equity market.

The report uses the completed 12 October US-session rows because the 13 October US ETF session was not complete at its research cutoff. A headline calling these figures the 13 October US closing outflows would misstate the period, even though the table was reviewed on that date in India.

What Indian readers can monitor next

Subsequent completed flow rows will show whether net redemptions persist across the same fund set. That evidence should be read alongside separately timestamped spot prices and any official regulatory or product announcements, rather than as a standalone trading instruction.

For asset and ecosystem context, see TradeGrows' cryptocurrency watchlist and the guide to seven crypto-market trends. Regulatory developments have a separate role: the ESMA stablecoin wind-down report explains a specific supervisory issue and should not be mistaken for a rule covering every Bitcoin or Ether transaction in India.
